Take the opportunity to plant allergy friendly plants when redoing your landscaping or putting in a new landscape.

Plant milkweed and add your location to the "Milkweed Highway"

The purpose of the Milkweed Highway is to encourage people to plant and maintain new native milkweed plants that will feed and nurture vast numbers of butterflies. Milkweed plants have been disappearing in our environment which is threatening the species of butterflies that depend on them such as the Monarchs. Monarch butterflies cannot exist without the milkweed plant.

Ask local nurseries to stock allergy friendly plants

Local nurseries are not always aware that they may have plants that help to reduce the impact of allergy and asthma. Help us make nurseries aware that allergy friendly plants help the environment and encourage them to have allergy plants available and labeled appropriately.
